The K3 December Newsletter

It is hard to believe that December is already here!  With Christmas just around the corner, the month of December will definitely be very exciting!  But with the cooler weather, we want to remind you to please make sure your child is warmly dressed and that all jackets, snowpants, hats, mittens and boots are labelled with your child`s name.

The St. George School is now preparing Christmas baskets for families in our school. We are asking JK students to bring in granola bars and SK students to bring in tuna / canned goods during Advent.  Your donations are very much appreciated.

Also, St George School is putting up a Christmas tree in the front foyer again for the Holiday Season. But this year, you are invited to send in hats and mittens for your child to place on the tree! After the Christmas season we will be donating these items to those who would benefit from a warm hat and mittens.

There will also be our St. George School Shopping Day!  On Friday December 11th, students will be able to buy gifts for family members for about a dollar or two and the gifts will come home wrapped and labelled ready to put under the Christmas tree. If you have any items to donate for this big day, please send them to school as soon as possible!

But mostly, on December 17th, the St. George School will be having their Advent Breakfast.  Parents are invited to join us for breakfast starting at 8:30 and to attend the concert in the gym at 9:30.  During this presentation, the Kindergarten students will even be performing a few Christmas songs!  We hope to see you then!
