On Tuesday June 28th, the Senior Kindergarten children will be attending the End of School Year mass at St George church.  If you are available to volunteer to help us walk to church and back to school, please let us know as soon as possible.  We will be getting ready to leave the school at 9:15 and return to school at about 11:30.

This week we will be sending home the quiet time blankets.  We will not be needing them during the next few afternoons because on Tuesday June 28th during the afternoon, we will be attending the St. George School Variety Show and Wednesday is the last day of school for the students!

Also, on Wednesday June 29th, the last day of school, all students will be receiving a free hotdog at lunchtime!  These hotdogs have been donated from the Superstore but please send in snacks and drinks to complete the meal!

Thank you for coming to our End of Year Celebration!  The children were very pleased to show you their songs and have a picnic outside with you.  

We also hope Dads had a very nice Father's Day yesterday!

And we just wanted to let you know that the Breakfast Room will be closed tomorrow morning, Tuesday June 21st.  

And finally, looking ahead, on Wednesday June 22nd, the Kindergarten children will be participating in the Kinders PlayDay during the afternoon.  Please make sure your child has sunscreen and a hat because we will be outside playing various games for more than hour!

French Scholastic Book Order

Last week, your child received the last French Scholastic Book order of the school year.  If you are interested in buying a French book for the summer, please fill out the order form and return it to school with a cheque by Friday June 3rd!

No school on Monday May 23rd!
We are sending the blankets home to be washed.
Please return them on Tuesday.

Hat & Sunglasses Day

This Friday May 13th it is Hat & Sunglasses Day at St. George School. Children are invited to wear a hat and sunglasses and bring a toonie to help raise money for Brain Tumour Research!

St. George Family Dance

This Friday May 13th, starting at 6:30 pm in the school gym, is our Family Dance put on by our School Council! We hope that many of you can make it out for some good company, great moves and a fun time.
