Thank you very much for the apples! We tasted a red and a green apple and made a graph showing our favourite one, we put some in order from smallest to biggest, we made patterns, we weighed them, we made predictions (Do apples float? Will lemon juice prevent a cut apple from becoming brown?), we painted apples, we decorated apple trees, we listened to the story of the star at the center of the apples and on Friday we made our very own apple sauce!  It was delicious!

This week should also be exciting as we get ready for Thanksgiving:

Picture retake on Tuesday October 6th: If you are not pleased with the pictures that you received and want your child to have his/her picture retaken, please write a note in your child's notetote to let us know.

French Scholastic: The French Scholastic Orders are due on Thursday October 8th.  If you are interested in ordering French books for your child to take home, please return your book order to the school with a cheque payable to “Scholastic Canada Ltd.”.

French play: In French class, we are working on the story of the Three Little Pigs.  If interested, you might want to check the words for the play in the previous post below and practice it at home with your child!

PD Day Friday October 9th: No school

Thanksgiving Monday October 12th: No school
