Shades and colours

As mentioned in our previous post we have been experimenting with light and colours. In the art centre we have been using different coloured water (using watercolours) ice cube trays and droppers to make different shades of colours. Students are making different shades by adding different amounts of a particular colour to another. We have been comparing our shades to paint chips and even coming up with our own creative names for the colours.
