Art screen printing

In the art centre we put out materials for students to use paint, Q-tips and plastic trays to paint spring scenes. Students use a roller to paint onto the plastic tray. They then use the q-tips to paint negatively. Finally, we place the paper on the paint and lift the image. Students quickly got busy painting flowers, suns and people. A few students, like G.P., wanted to write their name on their art. However, when she lifted her art G.P. realised that her name was backwards (see image below). She was able to write her name backwards in order to lift in and have it written correctly, left to write.
