Welcome back to all our students and families! The first week is already over and the whole class is already in the thick of it!
First, the SKs inquired about what principals do exactly?! We brainstormed what we thought Mrs. Beauchamp did. We read a hilarious book about a principal kissing a pig. Mrs. Beauchamp even came in for a visit so we could find out first hand what she does for us and the whole school.
In the middle of the week, we welcomed our new JK students. The SKs showed them the ropes and everyone got down to the business of playing and learning.
On Thursday, many of our families attended the school wide BBQ. It was great to see parents again or for the first time.
On Friday, we read our first book in the Schubert series. The Schubert books teach us strategies from our conscious discipline program. To learn more about it click here Conscious Discipline. We also named our school family. Henceforth we shall be the seamonsters!
Thank you to all who sent in supplies! Also, a reminder that students should have indoor shoes with non marking soles and a change of clothes that will remain at school just in case.
